BAKER’S SHOP “BUCZEK”

This is one of my favourite bakers’s shop !

This  bakery  is a family business , established in 1939 by  Mr Jan Buczek . He opened his own bakery  in Kraków just before the outbreak of WW II,  which meant that quite quickly he had to close it down. He never gave up  his idea and in 1945  re opened it again together with his  2 brothers at Starowiślna street.  After some time he opened a second bakery at Rajska street and this  is how it has all started.   Jan’s son Jerzy grew up watching the every day work of his dad’s bakery and fall in love with the business. He graduated law but came back to the family roots  and took over the bakery business. Thanks to his ideas and energy  it grew and become a famous bakery net with recognizable brand.

Today Jan’s grandson also works in the family business and takes care so the products are  still of the same quality based on tradition recipes of his grandpa.

Once you give it a try you will see why this is my favourite place to buy bread  & cakes!
