Interior of Polish Academy  of Science is indeed worth visiting!

While entering the PAS  almost immediately one may take a lesson of history while admiring  its  collection of  busts of polish famous and noble men  i.e.  Czesław Miłosz – citizen of Krakow and  Noble Prize winner ; Karolina  Lanckorońska who bequeathed her family’s enormous art collection to Poland or Józef Piłsudski – Chief of State of the Second Republic of Poland, Prime Minister of Poland ,General Inspector of the Armed Forces and many more who contributed to Poland’s heritage.

The  building is also a seat of Scientific Library of PAS in Cracow offers a rich collection of academic publications. Researchers can consult both Polish and foreign books and journals collected since 1856, as well as Special and Graphic Collections
